Whatyou will be doing:Youll be responsible forthe management of center safety security fire protection and liaison with law enforcement and other support agencies in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential duties:

1. Plan coordinate and manage the administrative and safety and security activities of the department; serve as liaison between the center and immediate community in security and law enforcement matters.
2. Provide staff training evaluate staff performance and recommend personnel changes.
3. Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.
4. Plan and schedule security officers to always maintain adequate security protection.
5. Conduct periodic safety and security officers to identify deficiencies and recommend changes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in safety or industrial hygiene or degree in other related fields that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours of study from the following (or closely related) disciplines: safety industrial hygiene chemistry biological sciences.
• Experience in managing safety and health programs safety inspection job hazard analysis and working knowledge of occupational health and environmental regulations. Must have supervisor experience.
• Experience with youth excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
