Could you be the full-time onsite PI EHS Site Advisor in Philadelphia PA US were looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your Environment Health & Safety (EHS) expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and dedicated teammates. Youll make a meaningful impact by ensuring compliance with EHS rules and fostering a safe and sustainable work environment for both Alstom employees and contractors during the testing and commissioning phases of equipment and trains. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (permit offices supervisors employees/contractors and the prime contractor) conduct inspections and monitoring on-site support risk assessments and much more.

Well look to you for:

  • Performing inspections and monitoring on-site activities to ensure safety compliance.

  • Overseeing work permits and ensuring adherence to required protocols.

  • Supporting employees and contractors in conducting risk assessments.

  • Providing coaching and guidance to supervisors regarding EHS best practices.

  • Delivering EHS induction sessions for contractors and employees.

  • Managing contractors and ensuring their compliance with EHS standards.

  • Organizing and participating in EHS committee activities.

  • Investigating accidents following up on actions and implementing corrective measures.

  • Preparing and broadcasting monthly toolbox talks.

  • Reviewing and qualifying contractor EHS documentation and monitoring compliance.

  • Degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or a related field (preferred but not required).

  • Experience or understanding of EHS practices with a minimum of 2 years in Environment Health & Safety.

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations ISO14001 OHSAS 18001 and ISO45001 standards.

  • Familiarity with construction or railway industry environments.

  • A certification or communication skill: Strong written English communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in Office tools (Word Outlook etc.).

  • Strong teamwork and people skills.

  • Initiative action-driven mindset and the ability to coach and influence others.

  • Analytical thinking with a rigorous and detail-oriented approach.
