At PwC our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs implement software solutions and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

We are seeking skilled Oracle APEX Developer with 1 to 5 years of proven experience in building and maintaining high-performance secure and scalable enterprise applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). The ideal candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders analysts and technical teams to deliver robust solutions that accelerate digital transformation and operational efficiency.

Examples of the skills knowledge and experiences you need to lead and deliver value at this level include but are not limited to:

Design develop test and deploy responsive web applications using Oracle APEX aligned with business requirements.
Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL programs including procedures functions packages and triggers.
Analyze and translate requirements into technical specifications and application solutions.
Customize UI components and implement dynamic pages using HTML CSS JavaScript and APEX features.
Optimize application performance tuning queries and PL/SQL for efficiency.
Troubleshoot debug and resolve functional or performance issues across development and production environments.
Liaise with business analysts QA and support teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and deployment artifacts for applications.
Support application testing user acceptance and release activities.

Experience and Professional Skills:

Having 4 years Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.
15 years of hands-on experience developing Oracle APEX applications.
Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript jQuery or similar.
Familiarity with APEX components (interactive reports/forms dynamic actions).
Practical exposure to REST services/ORDS integration is a plus.
Knowledge of version control.
Strong problem-solving analytical and debugging capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective collaborator within cross-functional teams.
Ability to deliver quality code with attention to performance security and usability.
Candidate having Oracle APEX Professional Certification is preferred.
