Position:Western Colorado University invites applications for the full-time administrative position of IT Lab Coordinator.

The Information Technology Lab Coordinator serves as the primary technical support specialist for computer systems in campus labs and classrooms. This positionis responsible forthe creation configuration maintenance and overall functionality of instructional technology environments ensuring reliable and efficient operation to support student learning and faculty teaching.

The position reports to the IT Service Manager. This is anon-campus in person positionat the Western Colorado University campus in Gunnison Colorado.

Responsibilities:Keyresponsibilities include the installation and configuration of hardware and software management of software licensing system diagnostics and user support.The coordinator works closely with faculty across all academic departments to align classroom computing environments with instructional goals ensuring that technology effectively supports the academic mission of the university.This role also provides frontline technical assistance to students faculty and staff to address hardware and software issues in a timely and effective manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer information systems computerscience or related field.

Two (2) years of general ITexperience (May be substituted by education ifbachelors degree in computer Science)

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated aptitude for Desktop supportand collaboration

Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in business-critical environments

Self-motivated and able working independently

Preferred Qualifications:

Lab/Classroommanagement in Higher Education environment

Experience with SSCCM/MECM Active Directory LabStatsMathCad Mathematica SolidWorksAutoDeskand other lab productsJamf Apple School Manager Intune.

Familiar with reporting and data analytics software (Tableau Power BI etc.)

4 years IT work in Higher Education

Compensation: $58750 to $64000 annually with position is FLSA non-exempt and eligible for overtime.Western offers an excellent benefits package including shared premiums for a comprehensive health insurance plan dental insurance retirement plan life insurance and other insurance options.
