Thisrole playsa key part inthe development and delivery ofAnglian Watersregulatory strategy.Part of a growing Regulation team at Anglianyoullsupportby contributing to bothbusinessas usualregulatory activities and future regulatory transition work following the Cunliffe review helping the business prepare for engagement with the water regulator in future.
The role will help to designthe arguments collatedataand developthe evidencewhich will shape how Anglian Water invests billions inenvironmental improvements growth assethealthand resilience.
The Analyst will work closely with the Regulatory Investment Lead asset managers Regulationteamsand other stakeholders toidentifyemerging risks and opportunities supporthigh-quality regulatory submissions and helpidentifyemerging risks and opportunities.
Key responsibilities
Provide support andconstructivechallenge to ensure successful regulatory submissions to Ofwat
Own the detail of regulatory submissions including data quality and cross-checks
Work with asset managers and delivery teams to develop delivery plans and ensure plans are deliverable and supported bystrong evidence.Track changesin the regulatory landscapeand assess the impacts of this on the business
Supportpreparations for future regulatory changesand engagement with the new regulatory framework
Support the Regulatory Investment Lead and Asset Managementteams in assessing and responding to emerging regulatory risks and opportunities
Provideregulatory insightto businessunitswhere regulatoryexpertiseis essential
