Job Summary
Lumino Invercargill is seeking a Casual Dental Assistant who can support our practice during busy periods staff leave and future locum coverage.
While this is an ongoing casual position we are ideally looking for someone who can offer fulltime availability in the short term to help us through an upcoming busy period. After this the role will transition into longterm casual support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clinicians chairside during procedures
- Preparing rooms instruments and equipment
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation
- Welcoming patients and assisting with reception tasks when required
- Helping the team deliver an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications :
Were keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but training would be given to the right candidate
- Knowledge of dental procedures and techniques
- Excellent communication organisational and customer service skills
- Proficiency in computer software applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have valid NZ work rights and lives locally
