Job Summary
Gary Yeomans Ford Ocala is seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team in Ocala FL. The Shop Foreman will oversee daily operations within the service department ensuring high-quality workmanship efficient workflow and excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills technical expertise and the ability to manage and motivate a team of technicians to achieve department goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of service technicians and support staff.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain efficient workflow by prioritizing tasks and managing shop schedules.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates and resolve any concerns.
- Conduct training and development sessions for technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Enforce company policies and procedures within the service department.
- Collaborate with management to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Shop Foreman or similar supervisory role in an automotive service environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety standards.
- Reynolds and Reynolds and Ford experience preferred.
