Mitigation Technician

What you will do:

• Perform emergency board up water extraction water damage mitigation and mold remediation.
• Assist in demolition and prepare areas/rooms for work activities and equipment.
• Execute fire damage mitigation services efficiently and safely.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors washing walls and glass and removing debris.
• Interface compassionately with clients and relay information to the Lead/Project Manager/ Superintendent.
• Assist with functions outside of mitigation (picking up and delivering materials performing Matterport scans etc.) depending on job volume.

What you will bring:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in restoration required.
• Carpet cleaning experience a plus!
• Ability to perform in this physically demanding position where you will lift equipment weighing 100lbs.
• Must be able to work on ladders and tall areas in confined and tight areas as well as perform in extreme heat humidity and cold weather
• IICRC Water Certification preferred additional certifications such as Fire Mold etc. a plus!
