Are you a Legal Assistant looking for a dynamic and exciting new role in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial and community-focused organisation
We are current seeking a passionate and dedicated Legal Assistant to provide top-notch administrative and assistant support to one of our Directors in Law. You will be an integral part of the team ensuring that the Director has all the support they need to deliver exception service to our clients!

What youll be doing
What can you expect in your day to day as a Legal Assistant Well you can expect to have a challenging and diverse role that will keep you engaged and motivated every day. This will include:
- Prepare court and tribunal documents notices and briefs for Counsel ensuring accuracy and timely lodgement.
- Manage efiling and online court lodgements across relevant jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with attorneys Counsel and external parties to gather required information and progress matters.
- Oversee ediscovery processes including data collection review and production where required.
- Create and maintain client files (electronic and physical) and ensure documents are correctly filed and easily accessible (e.g. NetDocs).
- Manage billing debtor followup and general accounts administration for the litigation team.
- Coordinate client appointments and manage busy diary schedules.
- Provide general administrative support to the Litigation team and handle confidential client communications professionally.
RequirementsWe want to hear from people who have:
- 3 years experience as a Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced litigation environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills - proactive about tracking deadlines and keeping the team on schedule.
- Excellent communicator with strong client service skills.
- Friendly positive cando attitude and a collaborative approach.
- Experience with NetDocs (or similar document management systems) is highly desirable.
