QA Tester

What does it feel like to be a QA Tester in Netcompany

By joining us as a QA Tester you will have the opportunity to be a part of our highly skilled agile consultants teams working within large-scale transformation projects that impact the life of millions of EU citizens. 

As a QA Tester you will:

• Define and document comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Construct robust test scenarios and scripts (both manual and automated) to ensure maximum coverage of software features.
• Perform systematic execution of tests across various platforms and environments to identify software discrepancies.
• Lead the coordination of testing activities within the project team ensuring all testing phases are aligned with development sprints.
• Generate detailed reports of test results providing actionable insights and metrics to stakeholders and management.
• Identify log and track software defects through their entire lifecycle verifying fixes and performing regression testing.
• Work closely with developers product owners and business analysts to clarify requirements and improve software design.

Qualifications :

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent (EQF Level 6) in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in modern software testing technologies and the ability to adapt to new digital tools.
• Hands-on knowledge of industry-standard testing tools (e.g. Selenium JIRA Postman or JMeter).
• Strong understanding of various testing types including Unit Integration System and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments and participating in daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to spot edge-case bugs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English French is an advantage.
• Relevant industry certifications (such as ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level) are highly desirable.
