Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Aldie VA
Pay Rate: $25$28 per hour
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:15 AM 2:45 PM
Hours: 7.5 hours per day
Break: 30-minute meal break
Setting: School-Based Cross-Categorical Classroom
Assignment: 1:1 Student Support
Contract Pattern: Monday through Friday
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one behavioral support to a student with Autism in a school-based cross-categorical classroom setting. The RBT will collaborate closely with educators special education staff and behavior analysts to support the students academic behavioral and social development throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 behavioral support to a student with Autism in a classroom environment
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs under the direction of a BCBA
Collect and maintain accurate data on student behavior and progress
Assist with academic activities transitions and daily routines
Apply evidence-based ABA strategies to promote positive behavior and learning
Collaborate effectively with teachers special education staff and supervisors
Maintain professionalism confidentiality and compliance with school policies
Qualifications
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred
Prior school-based or classroom experience is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow behavior plans and take direction from a BCBA
Reliable patient and compassionate approach to student support
