This role exists to convert that pipeline while building the next $500K through aggressive commercial outbound prospecting.
What Youll Do
Your first 90 days: Inherit and work the existing $300K warm pipeline (60% of time) while building new commercial outbound prospecting motion (40% of time). By Month 4-6 youll shift to 70% outbound as inherited deals convert.
Ongoing responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and deliver quotes within 48-72 hours
- Systematic follow-up on pending and sent estimates (3-5 touches minimum per deal)
- Outbound prospecting to property managers facility managers HOA contacts
- Build long-term commercial relationships for recurring work
- Manage personal pipeline from first contact through collection
Activity focus: 85% commercial development 15% select high-value residential opportunities
Target accounts:
- Apartment communities and multifamily properties
- HOA/CDD communities
- Commercial facilities and office complexes
- Strip malls and shopping centers
- Medical offices and healthcare facilities
- Industrial parks and warehouses
- Property management companies
Pricing: Youll work within defined guardrails. First 2-3 weeks quotes are reviewed before sending. As you demonstrate competency youll transition to independent authority on standard scopes.
Support: Youll work directly with ownership on objection handling pricing strategy and pipeline optimization. This isnt a figure it out alone role.

- Commercial sales cycles: 60-120 days from contact to signed contract
Compensation
- Base: $45000 annually
- Ramp stipend: $200/week for first 12 weeks ($2400 total)
- Commission: 5-10% on collected revenue (higher rates for self-generated deals)
- Example: $30K self-generated commercial contract at 8% $2400 commission upon collection
- Realistic Year 1: $60-80K total comp as you build territory
- Year 2 target: $100K with mature book of business and recurring commercial contracts
Commission paid only after Rolling Suds collects payment (typically 30-60 days post-completion for commercial work).
What We Need
Required:
- Proven B2B or outside sales experience
- Track record of independent prospecting and closing
- Comfort with performance-based comp and variable income during ramp
- Reliable personal vehicle (fuel reimbursed via company gas card)
- High accountability and follow-through
Strongly preferred:
- Commercial sales experience (property management facilities construction trades)
- Experience with longer commercial sales cycles
- Track record landing accounts with $20K-$100K annual contract value
Territory: Primary focus is Melbourne-Palm Bay corridor (Melbourne Palm Bay West Melbourne Rockledge Viera Satellite Beach Indian Harbour Beach Indialantic). Secondary coverage in Cocoa Merritt Island Titusville as opportunities warrant.
