Description

Lead the Future of Occupational Therapy in Lancashire

Lancashire County Council is seeking a visionary Principal Occupational Therapist to inspire innovate and champion excellence across our services.

Reporting into the Head of Quality and working in closely with the Head of Operations you will to shape the future of occupational therapy at a truly strategic level. You will provide professional and strategic leadership to a countywide workforce driving transformation and improving quality across Adult Social Care.

What we are looking for:

  • A qualified and HCPCregistered Occupational Therapist with substantial postqualification experience and a strong understanding of Health and Adult Social Care.
  • Significant leadership experience with a proven track record of leading services shaping strategy and influencing change across complex organisations.
  • A passion for quality and outcomes with a strong commitment to evidence based practice continuous improvement and delivering high-quality person-centred services.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with health housing voluntary sector and wider system partners.
  • Indepth knowledge of the Care Act Mental Capacity Act strengthbased approaches and communityfocused models of support.
  • An ability to represent Lancashire locally regionally and nationally shaping the future of occupational therapy.
