Location: Deploying to the Marshall Islands

Job Summary:

The Senior Quality Representative will be responsible for oversight of all healthcare quality programs across the program and will coordinate with the CONUS based compliance this role you will act as a patient advocate and champion for quality care within our organization. You will leverage your clinical expertise and nursing background to ensure we are meeting the highest standards of care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Some of the areas the Senior Quality Representative will be responsible for are Quality Assurance Healthcare Accreditation (if required) Policy and Procedure Development Risk Management Training and Education Data Analysis and Reporting Investigations and Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement.
  • The Representative will be supported by the corporate Compliance team based out of the Acuity Cape Canaveral Headquarters.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current Joint Commission and NCQA PCMH standards performance improvement and survey process.
  • Conduct audits and reviews of medical records to identify areas for improvement in patient care.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement quality improvement plans.
  • Educate staff on best practices and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements and serve as a liaison between patients nurses and other departments regarding quality of care issues.
  • Participate in quality improvement committees and projects.
  • Stay up-to-date on current healthcare regulations and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Be available for on-call duties as required responding promptly to emergencies and providing care as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical nurse setting.
  • Bachelors degree in healthcare administration nursing public health or related field.
  • Must hold and maintain a current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Strong understanding of quality improvement principles and methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma Lean).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • All healthcare providers must have current clinical experience in direct patient care and have worked a minimum of 6 of the last 12 months in the desired career field.
  • Must have a valid current U.S. Drivers License.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.
  • Shall be proficient in the ability to speak write and communicate in English.
  • Requires a favorably adjudicated CNACI investigation conducted by the Department of Defense.
  • Must sign an International Assignment Agreement (IAA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the IAA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality - CPHQ) preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

  • Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be medically and dentally fit in accordance with Acuity Medical Readiness Guidelines and Policies and/or as directed by the Client.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; travel to Kwajalein is required by air.
