Job Summary

Status: Permanent Full-Time

Location: 1800 Talbot Rd Windsor ON N9H 0E3

Expected Start Date: March 3 2026

The hiring rate for this role is $22.28 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

As a new Housekeeping & Laundry Team Member joining our Village Team you will:

  • Handle Residents personal items with care and respect
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents families and team members
  • Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Have exceptional time management skills and ability to work in collaboration with a team
  • Carry out all laundry duties according to the procedures of the Village
  • Maintain safe handling of all supplies and equipment and be comfortable lifting 15-25 lbs
  • Co-operate with all Departments to assure safe continual operation and efficiency
  • Review all policy and procedure manuals annually and/or when changes occur
  • Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents visitors and team members through comprehensive and effective support

    Assets but not required as Schlegel Villages provides training to the successful candidate:

    • Have experience working in a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home setting
