Contract Position St. Paul MN $69.40/hour 12 Months NO C2C
Overview
Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their innovative technology team. Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and deliver complex software solutions across the full development lifecycle
- Work with modern web application stack including Python backend and frontend
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Independently own significant technical work and contribute to system-level design
- Write well-tested maintainable code following best practices
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and customers on evolving requirements
- Participate fully in agile ceremonies and development processes
- Support production workloads and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Communicate technical decisions clearly and surface risks proactively
Required Qualifications
- 15 years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in Python backend development
- Proficiency with or similar modern frontend frameworks
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Database design and optimization experience
- Production support and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly on large codebases
- Must be available to work on-site in St. Paul MN
