We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 1015 years of experience to join our Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with client-facing and business development capabilities.
In this role you will work directly with clients collaborate closely with discipline leaders and business development teams and play a key role in mentoring and growing a high-performing structural engineering team within a multidisciplinary environment.
What Youll Do

Lead structural analysis design and detailing for commercial industrial institutional federal and infrastructure projects

Design steel concrete and masonry systems for new and existing construction

Coordinate complex multi-discipline projects from concept through construction
-
Manage project budgets schedules and deliverables
-
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients architects contractors and owners
-
Develop fee-based and qualification-based proposals
-
Participate actively in marketing and business development initiatives
-
Mentor junior engineers and support team development
-
Collaborate with other regional offices to deliver integrated project solutions
-
Maintain strong internal and external client relationships
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
-
Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license
-
1015 years of progressive structural engineering experience
-
Proven experience designing steel concrete and masonry structures
-
Strong project management skills including budget and schedule oversight
-
Excellent verbal written organizational and time management skills
-
Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (RISA RAM ETABS Enercalc AutoCAD Revit etc.)

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
-
Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with light-gauge steel and timber design
-
Local AHJ experience and established industry relationships
-
Active involvement in professional or industry organizations
-
Project Management certifications a plus
