Registered Nurse Director - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
RN DIR - NICU
Full-Time
Registered Nurse Director of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
- Directs and manages the operations and activities of the NICU Department.
- Responsible for the overall management of the departments daily operations to achieve quality improvement fiscal productivity and patient satisfaction goals and objectives established by upper management.
- Responsible for staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accord with corporate hospital department and safety policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for providing high-quality patient care to and acting liaison with patients and their representatives physicians and employees.
- Responsible for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
Registered Nurse Director - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
RN DIR - NICU
Full-Time
Registered Nurse Director of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Current Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) certification or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Current STABLE certification or must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- Minimum 3 years of clinical NICU nursing Director experience in an acute care setting
WOULD CONSIDER A STRONG NURSE MGR (4-5 YRS EXP. FROM A HIGH PERFORMING FACILITY- LEVEL 4 NICU
MUST HAVE DIRECT CLINICAL EXP IN NICU WITHIN THE LAST 3 YEARS (HANDS ON WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
