Job Summary
We are a passionate Performing Arts Consultancy dedicated to empowering artists organizations and communities through innovative strategies and creative solutions. Our work bridges the magic of performance with technology and were looking for a talented Back End Developer to join our remote team and help us build the digital backbone of our projects.
As our Back End Developer youll play a key role in designing developing and maintaining the server-side logic and infrastructure that powers our platforms. Your work will enable seamless user experiences for artists clients and audiences worldwide. Youll collaborate closely with creative and technical teams to translate artistic vision into robust scalable digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop test and maintain efficient reusable and reliable server-side code
Design and implement APIs to support our web and mobile applications
Ensure data security and protection across all platforms
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Collaborate with front-end developers designers and project managers to meet business and artistic goals
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Who You Are:
Experienced in back-end languages such as Python Ruby or similar
Comfortable working with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and managing data storage solutions
Familiar with RESTful API design and development
Knowledgeable about cloud services and deployment (AWS Azure or similar)
A proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail
Passionate about the performing arts or excited to support the creative community through technology
A great communicator who thrives in a remote collaborative environment
