Job Summary
Job Summary:
As an Activity Host you will be responsible for planning organizing and hosting a variety of activities and events for cruise ship passengers. This is a full-time permanent position that requires a high level of energy creativity and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize daily activities and events for cruise ship passengers including games contests and performances
- Engage with guests and create a fun and welcoming atmosphere
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of activities
- Set up and clean up activity spaces
- Promote upcoming events and activities to guests
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for activities
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or issues
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in event planning or hosting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
