Job Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Surveyor to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys collecting data and creating detailed maps and reports for our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct land surveys using various surveying equipment such as GPS total stations and laser scanners - Collect and analyze data from surveys including measurements boundaries and topographical features - Create detailed maps plans and reports based on survey data - Collaborate with engineers architects and other professionals to ensure accurate survey results - Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create digital maps and models - Ensure that all survey work is conducted in compliance with industry standards and regulations - Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy - Communicate with clients to understand their project requirements and provide updates on survey progress - Manage and train junior surveyors and assistants as needed Requirements: - Bachelors degree in surveying geomatics or a related field - 3 years of experience in land surveying - Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software including GPS total stations and CAD - Strong knowledge of surveying principles and techniques - Excellent mathematical and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and accuracy - Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed We Offer: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for career growth and development - Dynamic and supportive work environment - Chance to work with a diverse range of clients and projects - Training and support to enhance your skills and knowledge If you are a dedicated and skilled surveyor looking for a new challenge we encourage you to apply for this position.
