Job Summary
Our Client
Our client is a technology consulting company with strong expertise in digital transformation covering areas such as software development infrastructure data QA and low-code solutions. They support clients across multiple industries by delivering scalable high-quality tech solutions. The company has a solid presence in Portugal and operates internationally.
Hybrid - 3 times per week in Coimbra Lisbon Porto or Castelo Branco.
Responsibilities:
- Platform engineering: Design deploy and operate resilient infrastructure solutions primarily across AWS and Nutanix ensuring high availability scalability and security.
- Automation & scripting: Build and maintain REST APIs automation workflows and configuration management scripts to streamline infrastructure provisioning and operations.
- Infrastructure optimization: Modernize legacy environments to improve cloud performance optimize resource usage and enable cost-efficient operations.
- Collaboration: Partner with agile cross-functional teams including IT service delivery data analytics and integration teams to support a secure and well-integrated IT ecosystem.
- Documentation & best practices: Create and maintain documentation standards and best practices to ensure consistency reliability and compliance across the infrastructure landscape.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Platform Engineer Infrastructure Automation Specialist or DevOps Engineer with strong exposure to scripting and/or programming for infrastructure automation (e.g. Python Bash PowerShell Ansible Rundeck).
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Solid knowledge of (hybrid) cloud environments including AWS services (EC2 RDS ECS ELB Lambda) and Nutanix.
- Experience with containerization technologies is a strong advantage (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).

Familiarity with Git and the management of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Linux system administration is highly valued.
- Languages (spoken and written): Portuguese and English (mandatory).
