Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Specialist with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our QA this role you will play a critical part in safeguarding the quality and reliability of our digital products by designing executing and maintaining test strategies that seamlessly align with agile development practices.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in QA methodologies and a solid understanding of Asset Management and Commerce platforms ensuring robust and efficient testing throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Conduct manual and automated tests to ensure high-quality and seamless user experiences across eCommerce platforms.
Develop execute and maintain automation test scripts using Katalon focusing on reusability and modularity.
Collaborate with developers product owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define comprehensive test scenarios.
Report track and validate defects using Jira and work closely with development teams for timely resolutions.
Ensure the QA governance framework is effectively implemented across assigned products capturing key quality metrics.
Participate in release management processes supporting end-to-end testing and post-deployment validation.
Support System Integration Testing (SIT) efforts ensuring smooth handovers.
Improve test automation coverage for regression sanity and performance testing.

Requirements:

Proven experience in functional manual and automation testing.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Katalon for web and API automation.
Strong scripting skills in Java or Groovy to develop reusable and extendable automation scripts.
Familiarity with Asset management/ eCommerce testing including user journey validation shopping cart functionality and payment integrations.
Experience with Agile management and bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an Agile setup.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new testing methodologies and tools.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Experience in API testing using Katalon or Postman.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Bitbucket Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Exposure to performance testing methodologies and tools.
ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
