Could you be the VIE - Traction Software Validation Engineer were looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your software validation expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

Youll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of ourtraction and auxiliary converterembedded software solutions. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such asTraction Software Development EngineersTraction System Engineers and Project Engineering Managers) develop validation scenarios and ensure compliance with international standards likeEN50716and much more.

Youll specifically take care of creating and executing validation plans based onsoftwarerequirement specifications but also generating validation reports and managing simulators software and configuration.

Well look to you for:

  • Respecting and applying Environment Health and Safety (EHS) rules
  • Studying software requirement specifications to define validation plans
  • Translating validation plans into test cases using proprietary interfaces
  • Executing tests verifying results and ensuring continuous improvement of software coverage
  • Participating in audits for software certifications
  • Managing software validation planning and activities in alignment with project requirements

  • Masters degree in engineering (Software Electronics Control Systems or related field)
  • Experience with Matlab Simulink and ControlBuild
  • Familiarity with real-time embedded systems and software development environments
  • Basic knowledge of power electronics and control systems
  • Understanding of configuration and change management tools
  • Strong analytical skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
