Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is seeking a skilled and passionate Interventional Cardiologist - Structural Heart Disease to join our esteemed team in Springfield Illinois. As a nationally recognized leader in Cardiovascular care we offer an opportunity for a dedicated physician to provide cutting-edge care to patients with complex structural heart conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of highly regarded cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons.

Position Details

Outreach clinic opportunities
CRM: Medtronic Boston Scientific and Abbott.
High Volume structural heart practice with consistent procedural demand and a well-established patient base.
Comprehensive device experience with leading technologies including Medtronic Boston Scientific and Abbott.
EPIC EMR
Collaborative cardiovascular team environment working alongside 5 electrophysiologists 6 general cardiologists 5 interventional cardiologists and 2 structural interventional cardiologists.
Executive Medical Director: Dr. Ziad Issa.

Position Highlights
Well established stable cardiovascular practice with strong referral patterns and a growing demand for advanced structural heart services
Exercise meaningful clinical autonomy while having the opportunity to influence the ongoing development and direction of the structural heart program.
Strong commitment to patient-centered community-based care with a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary practice.
Participate in shared call coverage within a collegial group designed to support work-life balance in a community-based setting.

Requirements:
Unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA (prior to start) BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in structural heart interventions
Visa status: H1B supported; J1 ineligible

Pay Range: $740000 - $75500.00

Education Qualifications
  • Clinical doctorate is required.
Experience Qualifications
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents adults and geriatric patients is required.
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA when applicable to their specialty.
  • Must have successfully completed or in the process of completing an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.
