We are looking for an experienced and visionary GBS Site Lead to oversee the strategic operational and people leadership of our Wrocław Global Business Services center. This role serves as the general manager of the site ensuring operational excellence business continuity and continuous improvement while fostering a highperforming and collaborative culture.
As a key leader you will partner with business functions and global stakeholders to shape the future of our shared services organization and deliver value at scale.
Location: Wrocław
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in the office)
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the Shared Services Vision & Strategy
- Shape evolve and execute the longterm strategic vision for the shared services organization.
- Build and deliver a roadmap that supports business transformation and continuous improvement.
- Align strategy with global GBS leaders and functional partners.
2. Partner with Key Business Stakeholders
- Ensure services meet the expectations of business and functional leadership teams.
- Monitor service levels performance metrics and resource availability.
- Align capabilities (internal or outsourced) with evolving business needs.
3. Ensure Strong Governance & Compliance
- Oversee legal regulatory internal and external compliance.
- Maintain robust business continuity planning and risk management frameworks.
- Protect the organization through consistent and transparent governance processes.
4. Lead & Develop People
- Create an environment that attracts develops and retains top talent.
- Drive high engagement continuous learning and leadership excellence.
- Lead recruitment and ensure teams are empowered to perform at their best.
5. Oversee Site Administration
- Ensure safe modern and wellequipped facilities for employees.
- Oversee infrastructure needs including office space IT and essential services.
- Promote a healthy and productive work environment.
6. Manage Service Transitions
- Use a structured methodology for transitioning services into GBS.
- Coordinate closely with sending entities to plan transition and validate new services.
7. Drive Operational Excellence
- Deliver highquality highvalue services using best practices enabling technologies and optimized processes.
- Ensure daytoday operations exceed previous levels of performance and efficiency.
8. Provide Financial Stewardship & Demonstrate Value
- Own the site budget and financial performance.
- Focus on value creation balancing cost quality and impact.
- Ensure a strong return on investment for all initiatives.
9. Champion Continual Improvement
- Lead ongoing improvement efforts across people processes service levels and technology.
- Enhance capabilities to support evolving business priorities.
- Promote a culture of innovation curiosity and continuous enhancement.
Qualifications
- University degree
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- 79 years of experience leading shared services organizations / proven experience in building and leading successfully delivered services and projects within shared services organization
- Proven track record of driving transformation operational excellence and stakeholder engagement
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
