Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Work closely with the product owner to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
- Guide and coach the development team on Agile principles and practices.
- Remove impediments and ensure the team is working efficiently towards sprint goals.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during sprints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business goals.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in a remote setting.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g. CSM PSM).
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Experience working with financial or banking industry projects is a plus.
