Atrium Health Neurology Specialty Careis an outpatient adult subspecialty neurology practice located in Charlotte NC. We have 3different neurologic specialty clinics within our practice including our Stroke Program our Parkinsons and Movement Disorders Program and our Neuromuscular Program. Our Neuromuscular Program also runs multi-disciplinary Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Muscular Dystrophy clinics to address the complex care needs of those patient populations. Our multi-disciplinary team is composed of nurses medical assistants physiciansadvanced practice providers social workers dietitians speech therapists respiratory therapists occupational therapists and physical therapists.
WereLooking For:
We areseekingadedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN)to join our teamfull-time. Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Neurology experience
Ambulatory experience
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Minimum of1 yearof RN experience in an acute care setting.
Current certification inBLSrequired.
Strong clinical judgment communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Position Details:
This position supports our Center City Neurology clinics. After orientation the teammate would float between the Kenilworth and Edgehill offices (around 1 mile from each other) and also rarely travel to our Pineville office. Works in clinic with rooming patients more often than our program nurses and also works in the office handling triage forms medication prior authorizations/appeals and other patient messaging.
Weekday hours between8:00a and 5:00 PM
