Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing geotechnical services environmental engineering industrial hygiene and specialty testing.

What are we looking for

The Construction QC / QA Inspectoris responsible for conducting jobsite inspections and materials testing throughout the SeaTac Area.

Salary & Benefits Information:

The base wage or salary range for this position is $35 - $55/HR. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set experience qualifications and other job-related reasons.

What youll do:

• Perform a variety of testing project-specific observations and inspection duties under general supervision
• Utilize drawings specifications and diagrams
• Use specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Maintain and calibrate standard equipment
• Make detailed observations and gives the interpretation of results
• Train/supervise and perform complex assignments and work tasks
• Attend project meetings alone without supervision
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results
• Communicate effectively with client and project teams

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5 years relevant construction inspection quality assurance and quality control experience on transportation/heavy civil projects
• ACI and ICC Certifications
• Valid Drivers License and reliable driving record
• Must have Basic Math Calculator and Computer Skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word Excel and Outlook).
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be fluent in English
• Must be able to read plans and specifications
• Must be able to work off shifts and overtime
• Computer skills especially familiarity with MS Office applications. are necessary
• Ability to lift move push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound
• Ability to kneel squat and climb occasionally
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One or more of the following certifications: ICC ACI Nuclear Gauge WABO WAQTC and/or CWI
