We are seeking a strategic and experienced technology leader to join a global technology organization driving innovation at scale. This role plays a key part in shaping engineering strategy leading cross-functional teams and delivering world-class solutions that power critical infrastructure and products.

As Director of Systems Engineering you will be responsible for setting the technical vision leading engineering execution and influencing cross-organizational decisions that impact product reliability performance and scalability. Your leadership will ensure that engineering efforts align with business goals and customer outcomes.

This is a senior leadership role within a global enterprise-scale organization (Big 4style environment) supporting complex high-impact technology programs across multiple regions and stakeholders.

What Youll Lead and Build
Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary engineering organization to deliver high-impact technical solutions.

Define and implement technical strategy and architecture for systems and solutions across teams.
Collaborate with product managers engineering leads and senior leadership to prioritize initiatives and align roadmaps.
Drive operational excellence and adoption of engineering best practices (e.g. CI/CD observability cloud performance).
Manage stakeholder relationships across business units and with external partners.
Oversee key decisions affecting systems design deployment standards and technology investments.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure competitive advantage.

What You Bring to the Table

10 years of experience in software engineering systems engineering or technology leadership.
5 years in senior leadership program management or director-level roles driving complex technical outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and scale engineering practices.
Strong communicator with proven experience influencing stakeholders and executive leadership.
Experience with cloud infrastructure distributed systems or large-scale product delivery.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent (advanced degree preferred).
