Responsibilities include:
Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN
Supporting pupils with ASD ADHD SEMH or other learning difficulties
Adapting learning materials and resources to meet individual needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting self-regulation
Supporting pupils in developing social emotional and communication skills
Observing recording and reporting pupil progress to teachers and SENCOs
Assisting pupils during transitions between activities or classrooms
Supporting therapy or intervention sessions
Assisting pupils with personal care where necessary
You will be a calm consistent and encouraging presence helping pupils navigate both academic and social challenges while fostering confidence and independence.
