We are seeking a caring reliable and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Twickenham starting as soon as possible. The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will work alongside the class teacher to support teaching and learning for Reception and Nursery pupils. You will assist with daily activities group and individual learning and help maintain a positive engaging classroom environment. Observation and support will help track childrens progress and contribute to their ongoing development.
You will also communicate effectively with colleagues and where appropriate parents and carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. Flexibility patience and a proactive approach are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in planning and delivering learning activities
Assist with group work and individual support for pupils
Observe and record pupils progress in line with the EYFS framework
Help maintain a safe structured and stimulating learning environment
Support childrens personal social and emotional development
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions
