Job Summary
A welcoming and well-organised secondary school in Brighton is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to support the smooth day-to-day running of the school site.

The Role
The Caretaker will play a key role in site maintenance security and health & safety working closely with the school leadership and premises team.
Key responsibilities include:
Opening and closing the school site
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
Monitoring health & safety and site security
Managing contractors and deliveries
Ensuring the site is clean safe and well maintained
Supporting events and lettings where required
The Ideal Candidate
Previous caretaking or site experience preferred
Practical hands-on approach to maintenance
Strong awareness of health & safety
Reliable flexible and trustworthy
