Data Lead

We are currently looking for Data Leads to grow our capabilities and support our customers in data-intensive initiatives. In your assignments you lead a delivery team and key data workstreams working with customer representatives vendors and sometimes Sofigate colleagues. You might recognize yourself from titles such as Data Lead Data Governance Lead Master Data Manager Migration Manager Analytics Lead or Data Project Manager.

Typically you could work with master data and data governance initiatives solution renewalrelated migrations or analytics addition some of our assignments focus on building something truly data-drivensuch as enabling advanced analytics AI/ML use cases or data productsin close collaboration with data engineers and data scientists. The type of projects you work in can be influenced by you: you can either deepen your existing expertise or learn new topics to forge your own core skill set.

Projects can be delivered using either Waterfall or Agile and follow the Business Technology Standard (read more at ) or the methodology utilized in the customer environment. Either way each project offers opportunities to learn deliver tangible outcomes and create real customer value.

What we expect from you

As our future Data Lead you are passionate about achieving results with our customers and exceeding their expectations. You can quickly take ownership of a project or a data workstream and create a sense of confidence and clarityso the customer knows they are in capable hands and moving toward their goals.

To succeed in this role you:

• Bring strong leadership and management skills and actively develop them further

• Thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with diverse stakeholders

• Are comfortable presenting to and engaging in discussions with senior management

• Bring structure to complex data topics by aligning stakeholders around data governance ownership decision-making and ways of working

• Are fluent in both Finnish and English due to our customer needs

You could already have previous experience in:

• Leading data migration master data or data governance initiatives (e.g. data ownership data quality management policies operating model metadata management and cross-functional collaboration)

• Delivering analytics / BI / data platform projects where data is transformed into insights and decision-making support

• Running data-intensive transformation projects where data is used to build something newsuch as enabling AI/ML or data science use cases together with technical teams

• Working with different project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Portfolio Gate models)

• Operating at the intersection of business and IT

• Consulting experience
