Job Summary
Are you interested in building database systems and services that are used by top 100 enterprise software companies The Big Data SQL team is looking for a talented Software Engineer to build new features that help our customers in profiling user experiences and drive business critical decisions to shape their better products.
Oracle Big Data SQL enables organizations to immediately analyze data across Apache Kafka NoSQL cloud Object Stores and Oracle Database leveraging existing SQL skills security policies and applications with extreme performance. From simplifying data science efforts to unlocking data lakes Big Data SQL makes the benefits of Big Data available to the largest group of end users possible.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Extensive experience working in a related system (Preferred)
- Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design and problem solving
- Demonstrated proficiency with Java C Rust programming language
- Are comfortable working towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables
