Internship Details

• Duration: 12 weeks full-time

• Dates of Internship: May 18 2026 August 7 2026

• Location: Remote (US)

• Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are post graduate Masters or PHD students who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

About the Team:

The Labcorp Artificial Intelligence team has pioneered real-time API integrations for model inference deployed solutions leveraging state-of-the-art machine learning models and continually brings advanced AI capabilities into practice to improve patient outcomes and business operations.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Machine Learning Model Development & Deployment: Design develop and deploy production-ready machine learning models through real-time API integrations contributing to enterprise-scale AI solutions that directly impact patient care and healthcare delivery across Labcorps global diagnostic operations.

• Generative AI Application & Innovation: Apply cutting-edge Generative AI techniques to solve complex healthcare and business challenges working alongside experienced data scientists to implement state-of-the-art AI capabilities that enhance diagnostic workflows and operational efficiency.

• End-to-End AI Solution Implementation: Participate in the full lifecycle of AI solution deliveryfrom data exploration and model development to integration testing and monitoringwhile gaining hands-on experience with enterprise-level machine learning infrastructure and best practices in a healthcare setting.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• Working towards postgraduate degree in Science Mathematics Computer Science or other related field

• Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting

• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues

• Completed coursework in machine learning data mining and statistical analysis applying learned concepts in real-world scenarios

• Experience in programming languages including Python R and SQL for data manipulation and analysis

• Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
