Join SPX FLOW as Process Engineer
Location: Silkeborg Denmark
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Process Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality process engineering solutions for projects and bid proposals. You will develop safe efficient and compliant process systems collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams customers and suppliers across the full project lifecycle.
What Youll Do
- Design and develop process solutions including flowsheets P&IDs equipment specifications operating concepts and performance expectations
- Ensure designs meet safety environmental regulatory and contractual requirements
- Perform engineering calculations to support system design and equipment selection
- Take ownership of assigned design scope ensuring quality consistency and on-time delivery within budget
- Participate in customer and supplier discussions design reviews and project meetings
- Collaborate with mechanical electrical automation supply chain and installation teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Support installation commissioning testing and handover activities ensuring design intent is clearly communicated
- Contribute to proposals feasibility studies site surveys and technical sales support when required
- Prepare and maintain process documentation operating instructions and technical project files
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of the food industry is essential
- Understanding of basic hygienic standards and chemical cleaning procedures
- Ability and willingness to learn from senior engineers and adapt to different working methods
- Open-minded flexible and collaborative able to work internationally in a global team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills comfortable collaborating across functions
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus (training available if needed)
Education & Experience
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Process Chemical Mechanical)
- Engineering design experience in dairy food beverage pharmaceutical or other hygienic industries is beneficial but not mandatory

The monthly base salary ranges from DKK 42758 to DKK 57633 with the final offer aligned with the candidates experience and qualifications. The employer-paid pension contribution is 11%.
