The HR Generalist administers core HR functions ensures multi-state compliance maintains HR systems and data integrity and supports firm-wide engagement and talent initiatives. This role partners closely with leadership to promote a positive workplace culture ensure consistent HR practices and support retention and growth strategies.
Essential Responsibilities:
Employee Support & HR Operations
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers on policies procedures benefits and performance management
Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws across multiple states
- Draft update and implement HR policies; monitor regulatory changes and communicate firm-wide
HRIS & Performance Management
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of HRIS and performance management systems; serve as subject-matter expert for data entry reporting audits and troubleshooting
- Support annual performance review cycles and ongoing performance management processes
Employee Engagement & Retention
- Lead engagement initiatives including stay and exit interviews; analyze feedback to provide actionable recommendations on culture engagement and retention
- Partner with leadership to enhance employee experience
Terminations & Offboarding
- Prepare termination documentation final pay requirements benefits notifications and offboarding communications; coordinate equipment returns
Government Reporting
- Conduct required government reporting (EEO and other applicable filings) ensuring accuracy timeliness and regulatory compliance
Intern Program Management
- Lead the firms intern program including planning interviewing onboarding and partnering with managers to ensure a consistent engaging experience
- Lead the firms university recruitment efforts including partnerships with key colleges and universities
Talent Acquisition Support
Interview and evaluate candidates for entry-level roles (Interns Client Service Associates Administrative Assistants) partner with TA on recruiting efforts
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 0-5 years related experience preferably in a generalist capacity
- Experience with HRIS and performance management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
