DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
Manage a team of staff to provide an acceptable level of logistic support cum warehousing needs with error free inventory control. Do whatever it takes to meet or exceed our customers expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy. Lead a team of staff pertaining to import/export and warehousing function. Develop and implement effective storage systems. Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance to import/export regulations and facilitate fast customs clearance of materials. Build working relationship with various external bodies for insight into future trends development. Implement freight cost control program in monitoring finish goods and raw materials delivery costs. Planning of logistic support to ensure timely delivery of goods. Ensure staffs compliance to rules and regulations. Participation in cost control and quality programs. Develop staff to be able to handle future trends.
Education & Experience
- General first degree.
- MRP knowledge. .
- Computer literate
- Min 5 years at supervisory level in an electronics high volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of air freighting procedures.
- Indepth understanding of customs/MIDA regulations.
Skills
- Articulate with good communications skills and ability to interact with all levels.
