Were looking to recruit aMusic Teacher to join our Dalian American International School a Nord Anglia Education school.

THE SCHOOL

DAIS is an American international school in the Golden Pebble Beach National Resort in Jinzhou New District Dalian China about 60 kilometres east of the centre of Dalian.

Founded in 2006 DAIS has provided every student with an opportunity to achieve personal excellence and to contribute to the global community. It serves students of approximately 30 nationalities inPre-Kthrough 12th grade.

The language of instruction is English for all classeswith the exception ofproficiency levelled Mandarin classes.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging music lessons fostering students musical skills and creativity and contributing to the overall development of our vibrant school community.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Music Education or related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in an elementary or primary school setting - Strong knowledge of the Common Core curriculum standards for music education
- Ability to design age-appropriate lesson plans that inspire student participation and learning
- Excellent communication skills with students parents and colleagues
- Proficiency in using various musical instruments and technology as part of instruction
