Job Summary

To support this mission Syngentas Direct Procurement team is seeking a Direct Procurement Analyst (fixed term - December 2026) in Ciudad de México México. This role will support the procurement team by ensuring business continuity during the S/4HANA implementation (9-10 months) while actively participating in data migration testing and process optimization. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and functional system requirements. This role requires balancing daily operational procurement duties with hands-on migration tasks data validation and process adoption of SAP Fiori apps.
Accountabilities
Operational Direct Procurement Duties
- Procurement Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end procurement process.
- Vendor Management: Support non-conformities with suppliers performance evaluation and communication.
- Material Planning: Support vendor scheduler (planning) ensure timely deliveries with suppliers analyze material price variances and negotiations.
SAP S/4HANA Transition & Project Tasks
- Data Migration & Cleansing: Support data cleansing mapping and validation of vendor master material master and open purchasing data from legacy systems to S/4HANA.
- System Testing (UAT): Review test cases conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verify end-to-end process integrity (direct procurement POs goods receipts).
- Delta Design Analysis: Identify gaps between legacy procurement processes and S/4HANA best practices providing recommendations for delta design and process improvement.
- Process Optimization: Implement new S/4HANA functionalities such as Flexible Workflows Fiori apps for purchasing and enhanced reporting dashboards.
- Go-Live & Support: Participate in cutover activities provide hyper-care support and deliver end-user training to stabilize the new system.
Qualifications :
Required
- Experience: 3 years in direct procurement/supply chain with specific hands-on experience in SAP or any other ERP system.
- SAP S/4HANA Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of S/4HANA procurement modules including Fiori application experience.
- Migration Experience: Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation or data migration project.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data map processes and resolve technical/functional issues.
- Communication: Proven ability to collaborate with IT and business stakeholders.
- Language: Fluent English.
