Motion Capture Specialist

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Motion Capture Specialist to join our studio in Warsaw.
In this hands-on role youll be involved in both mocap session preparation and post-processing. Youll also support our team in enhancing our tools and stage setups building experience with our workflows while helping improve them. Your work will make a direct impact on animation quality across our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all parts of a mocap shoot
• Post-processing mocap data (retargeting solving tracking)
• Working with internal clients to organize mocap shoots
• Maintaining mocap studio hardware
• Participating in designing and assembling mocap setups for offsite shoots support or accommodations provided where needed
• Helping improve the mocap pipeline by exploring new technologies and solutions

Qualifications :

• At least 3 years of experience in motion capture in a production environment including mocap shoots (games films commercials).
• Experience with one or more motion capture software tools: Shogun Blade Motive Cortex or Giant (Shogun/Blade preferred).
• Working knowledge of Autodesk MotionBuilder.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g. Python HSL JavaScript).
• Reliable and consistent contributor in dynamic production cycles.
• Open to feedback learning and sharing knowledge with teammates.
• Able to communicate ideas effectively in a collaborative environment using the communication methods that work best for you.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written) for team collaboration.

Additional Information :

Working mode

In-office in a full-time capacity in Warsaw Poland. Relocation is required.
