Job Summary
- Casual position based in Townsville QLD
- Shift times acoss Monday - Friday 9am 6pm
- Casual position earns 25% loading
- Extra 1.5% superannuation paid on top of pay rate
Reporting to the team leader a Sample Receipt Officer is responsible for performing the work of the sample receipt area and other specific duties.
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- Sample Receipt & login including storage of samples on arrival and registration in LIMS.
- Sample Management good housekeeping practices.
- Checking registration against the COC laying out samples.
- Send subsamples to hub labs
- Temperature charts (according to Eurofins protocols).
- Biosecurity samples (according to Eurofins protocols).
- Liaising with clients to ensure correct contract requirements.
- Prepare and pack bottle orders
- Some local driving to collect samples
- Other duties as directed.
- Contract Review.
