NZ Police areseekinga highly experienced Senior SAP Payroll Expert to lead and support the delivery of SAP HR Payroll and Time Management solutions for New Zealand Policeon a fixed term role is embedded within the ICT Corporate Products Team andis responsible formanaging both BAU and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will bring deep SAP functional and technicalexpertise strong stakeholder engagement skills and a delivery mindset aligned withourvalues

  • Implement Collective Agreement provisions across SAP modules.
  • Manage regular Payroll updates including wage types rules and schema changes.
  • Apply SAPnotes and ensure system compliance.
  • Maintain Time Management configurations including leave quotas and wage type generation.
  • Service Now Incidents and Jiras.
  • Review and apply legal changes for the new tax year.
  • Align work schedules and rosters across SAP HCM.

Werelooking for someone with a strong understanding of deployment principles excellent coordination skills and a continuous improvement mindset. You will bring:

  • 15 years in senior SAP HRPY roles with strong technical and functional advisory experience.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional delivery usingAgileand waterfall methodologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP implementation and Level 2and3 support in complex environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Lead systems design integration and configuration activities.
  • Identifyand implement process improvements and enhancements.
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance across SAP modules.
  • Drive resolution of complex enterprise application issues

WhakaritengamotuhakeSpecial requirements

  • Deep understanding of NZ Payroll legislation and operational payroll practices.
  • Full lifecycle implementation of SAP HCM Payroll and Time solutions.
  • Expertisein Payroll schemas rules and interfaces to Financeandthird parties.
  • Experience with Payroll ABAP developments and Epi-use reporting tools.
  • Strong operational HR background with SAP HCMexpertise.
  • Knowledge of NZ HR policy and legislation.
  • Experience in building rosters and schedules in SAP.
  • Configuration knowledge of Personnel Administration and Organisation Management.
