In this role you will lead high-visibility capital markets projects with substantial financial impact on the company (through interest expense credit rating and various proposals to top management and the Board of Directors) assist with execution of capital market issuances help secure bank financing perform financial analysis and credit rating management and support the Head Capital Markets.


Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with execution of capital market issuances and negotiation of documentation and conditions for financing arrangements with banks

  • Develop and maintain financial models perform financial analysis and develop and present appropriate financial solutions

  • Assist with ad-hoc projects on various capital markets and corporate finance topics (e.g. capital structure capital allocation priorities minimum liquidity dividend)

  • Perform credit rating management (incl. comprehensive credit rating analysis / rating forecasting and drafting of communication to credit rating agencies)

  • Perform periodic analysis of equity related topics (e.g. Employee Participation Programs ADS program share buybacks)

  • Prepare analysis and reporting required for quarterly and annual close

  • Support the Head Capital Markets and coach other members of the team

Essential Requirements:

  • MBA (or equivalent) CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is a plus

  • Experience in investment banking (e.g. debt capital markets equity capital markets M&A) at a top-tier bank at a main credit rating agency or in a very similar role at a corporate treasury of a multi-national company

  • Deep know-how of debt and equity financing markets corporate finance and general treasury know-how

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking as well as advanced quantitative modelling capabilities

  • Strong oral and written communication paired with the demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) German is a plus
