Reporting to the Field Supervisor your role is crucial in ensuring the safety reliability sustainability and affordability of our underground network assets for our valued customers. Working to the highest standards of quality cost and time your dedication to safety is paramount as you inspect install and maintain underground network infrastructure and electrical equipment.

From structures to cables your expertise ensures smooth operations near live electrical apparatus. Your responsibilities extend to preparing work sites liaising with key contacts resolving customer complaints interpreting technical documentation and participating in emergency restoration work.

What you bring to the role

To be successful you will have the following skills & experience:

• Qualified Cable Jointer Cert III in ESI Power Systems (or equivalent)
• Class C drivers licence
• Electrical Safety Rules accreditation and other relevant statutory training
• WH&S WorkCover General Induction
  Confined Space Training
• Proven experience in an electrical trade role within the electricity distribution or relevant industry including experience in jointing
• Sound knowledge of relevant statutes regulations and procedures such as safe working practices network standards and codes of practice
