Job Description:

Responsible for implementing and maintainingcost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting equipment andsystems
Performs engineering RF/analog/digital design and measurement tasks as well as operational tests and fault isolation on radio systems
Uses a variety of test and measurement equipment toevaluate radio equipment performance
Create test strategies and specifications for new andrevised assemblies
Prepare test and diagnostic software design testfixtures complete test procedures for new and existing products
Develop debug optimize test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
Document test hardware and software using computerbased tools
Instruct technicians in the completion of testrequirements as described above
Ensures production goals & metrics are met from atest perspective

Essential Functions:

Design develop and debug software applications for control/automation of test and measurement equipment using NI LabVIEW and TestStand.
Support Delivery of new products to our manufacturing facility.
Fixture cable PCB design for automated manufacturing test fixtures.
Positive attitude openness to new ideas willingness to learn new tools.
US Citizenship.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 - 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience in digital analog and RF circuitry design/troubleshoot.
Measurement of key performance parameters using analyzers generators oscilloscopes and meters.
Understanding of software defined radio products and communications.
Expertise in evaluation of designs for testability; Working knowledge of the fundamentals of In-Circuit Test (ICT) functional board level testing unit and system level testing coverage analysis.
Must be a self-starter and able to work successfully with minimal supervision.
NI LabVIEW/TestStand development experience.
Experience working in an Agile Scrum development process.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York state is$70500- $130500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
