Basic Job Functions:
The role of Payroll Administrator includes providing support for all basic payroll and HR functions within CSI. This includes but is not limited to:
Weekly processing of all payroll activities; preparing W2s; preparation and submission of weekly and monthly reports toAccounting; and wage garnishment processing.
Administering FMLA Sick Pay Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance claims.
Assisting teammates with payroll and HR related inquiries
Maintaining and auditing physical and electronic personnel files.
Initiating New Hire Onboarding conducting Orientation and entering in various databases.
Generating weekly and quarterly payroll tax reports.
Maintaining current cross-training within all HR functions to provide back up as needed.
Maintaining a high level of integrity ethical character and honesty in all actions.
Other duties as assigned.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- No relatives or household members employed by NCSI
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Payroll Success Factors and Ceridian Dayforce experience
- Payroll tax and financial reporting experience
