Basic Job Functions:

The Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping the visual identity of the organization. This role is responsible for creating compelling on-brand design assets across print and digital channels supporting marketing initiatives and ensuring brand consistency throughout the companys communications. The Graphic Designer will work closely with the marketing team to produce designs that create generous and remarkable materials from pre-press through completion; and will work in collaboration with others to help maintain the visual image and standards of the organization.

This is a pivotal creative role where youll uphold and evolve brand standards giving you a sense of ownership. Youre not just executing tasks youre shaping the brands future and ensuring consistency at scale.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of 4-7 years of related experience.
Ability to provide strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both print and digital design.
Understanding of digital ad specifications responsive design and basic UX principles.
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop) and familiarity with Figma or similar tools
Solid foundational visual design skills e.g. typography layout color and information hierarchy. Illustration skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Visual Communication Marketing or related field
Creative inventor and innovator with the ability to articulate big and breakthrough ideas
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for web asset optimization
Familiarity with marketing automation or CMS platforms
Excellent attention to detail time management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
