POSITION SUMMARY
BartonMalow is seeking a Project Engineer (Self-Perform) to join our Building Trades team in Spring Hill TN. This role involves providing technical support document control and project management for various construction projects primarily in automotive renewables and industrial markets across North America. Travel is expected as part of the role.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical support for resolution and tracking project issues.
- Manage all project document control.
- Process submittals and RFIs.
- Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.
- Maintain project schedule.
- Prepare and issue meeting minutes.
- Assist with planning and managing site logistics.
- Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite.
- Receive and review/evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders.
- Manage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
- OSHA 30 Hour preferred.
- Industrial markets project experience highly preferred.
- Strong proactive positive attitude with commitment to safety.
